Every consultant has at least 20 years each of progressive high-level accounting experience. With over a 150 years total experience, we can bring the experience needed to start-ups, small & mid-size businesses at a fraction of the cost of a full-time person.
David Charbonneau, CPA (inactive) - (25+ years' experience)
David is the founder with over 25 years industry experience as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), President and Chief Restructuring Officer. His experience crosses several industries including construction, manufacturing, and service industries for both publicly traded, equity owned and family-owned businesses. He is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
David graduated from The Ohio State University with a major in Accounting. He commenced his accounting career with the largest public accounting firm, Arthur Anderson & Co. After nearly 5 years in public accounting, he spent the next 10 years as CFO for two internationally owned companies with nearly $100 million in revenues & 700 employees.
David was also the President & part-owner of a southeast regional US construction company with locations in Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina for 10 years. After the company was sold, he moved back to Cleveland and worked full-time with CFO Consultants Inc. dba E-Accounting I to offer bookkeeping & fractional controller services to companies that cannot afford a full-time accountant. He enjoys working with growing companies and helping them succeed. He is married and has six children.
Tony – Accountant (25+ years' experience)
Tony has been providing Fractional Controller services since 2010. He earned his bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting from University of Notre Dame. Tony has over 20 years ' experience as CFO and Treasurer for manufacturing and wholesale industries. In addition, he has 14 years' experience as a tax specialist working Big 4 Public Accounting firm, large retail conglomerate and was partner of a local tax firm. He has extensive experience in manufacturer, standard and job costing, burden rates and overhead variance analysis. He has prepared and presented financial statements to many owners and board of directions. Tony also oversaw implementation of a manufacturing cost accounting system into a client. He has extensive knowledge and experience in excel, QuickBooks and many others software systems. He has successfully negotiated bank and equity lines range from $3 million to $80 million.
John – Accountant (25+ years' experience)
John has over 25 years Accounting Manager / Controller experience prior to joining E-Accounting He earned his bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting from Cleveland State University. As controller for companies with up to $35 million in revenue, John brings a vast amount of experience to the team. He has worked as controller for construction, contractors, rental equipment, and print companies. John is an expert in preparing financial statements, providing variance analysis, reviewing, and entering general ledger entries, reconciling account balances, bank reconciliations, oversight of clerical staff including AP, AR, billing, and payroll. He has also prepared budgets, financial projections and assisted in strategic planning. John has worked with various software, including QuickBooks, Foundation and Excel to name a few.
Denise – Accountant (20+ years' experience)
Denise has been in the accounting field since 2000. She earned her bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting from Baldwin Wallace College. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude and was awarded a Presidential Scholarship. Denise is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Denise works directly with clients on or off site as their accountant. Denise’s 20-year experience covers accounting, bookkeeping and taxes for both small and large corporations. The last ten years, she has specialized in providing accounting and bookkeeping services for sole proprietors and small businesses. In her spare time, Denise likes to spend time with her family and enjoys outdoor sports.
Linda - Accountant (30+ years' experience)
Linda has over 30 years of accounting experience, including as an Accounting Manager for a division of large international corporation, and as an accountant for small businesses and non-profits. She was CPA and currently a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor and has founded several small companies. She has set up accounting, software and office systems from scratch and independently handled contracts and projects.
She has prepared and presented quarterly reports, cash flow forecasts and variance analyses; and specializes in streamlining accounting and logistical processes. She has been the main interface for dozens of internal audits (corporate) and external audits (state sales tax). She has handled nearly all aspects of accounting, office management and human resources and consistently held the best divisional record for A/R collections.
Linda works directly with clients on or off site and will take on special projects. In her spare time Linda studies forests and freshwater systems and is an active volunteer in the community.
Don - Accountant (20+ years' experience)
Don has been in the accounting field for over 20 years. He earned his accounting and finance degrees from Miami University. Don's experience includes Controller and Operations Advisor in various manufacturing and distribution industries ranging up to $80 million in revenue. He also has extensive experience with the sale of companies, mergers, and acquisitions. For the last 18 years, Don has enjoys coaching different sports at local recreational centers.
